American Romanticism

1. Rin van wrinkle was a simple good-natured man; he was, moreover, a kind neighbor, and an obedient hen-pecked husband. He was a great favorite among all the good wives of the village, who, as usually gospel with the women. The children would be shouting with joy seeing ran van wrinkle, because he would play sports with him, make their toys, taught them to fly a kite, shoot marbles, and told them stories of witches, ghost, and Indians.

When he went dodging through the village, he would be surrounded by group of them, holding on his shirt. Not one dog in the village would bark at Rip Van Wrinkle.
He would never refuse to help a neighbor even in the roughest soil, and was the only one who knew how to grow Indian corn or help build stone fences.

The women in the village would also ask rip van wrinkle to run some errands, and do some small chores. Something that their husbands wouldn't do for their wives. He would help any one but himself, but doing his chores at home to keep his farm in organized.

2. Romanticism thought imagination was important. Because in rip van wrinkle the part where he went to the mountains and seeing some elves, drinking their magic drink you would have to imagine about when he saw the elves or when he would sleep for 20 years Rip van wrinkle wasn't sophisticated he still accomplished his tasks

3. It talks about if your going to die come outside and listens to nature. When you die you'll become part of the elements in the earth. Yet you will never be alone you'll be with others that live before you. It is romanticism because it the imagination and the level that's people could come up to be king or queen.

4. The point of this poem is about imagination of how this person working in a place where they make string. He used his imagination to show what is rope used for different things for example in the part Two fair maidens in a swing, Like white doves upon the wing, First before my vision pass; Laughing, as their gentle hands Closely clasp the twisted strands, At their shadow on the grass.

5. the picture show a place far from the cities into place that a person would like paradise, because romanticism is about imagining things that come to mind like this pictIre. i choose this picbecausecuase that live in a city that is loud they look at this picture and imagine that there in a place peace and quite like the one in the picture.

Ciudad Juarez one of the most dangerous cities for a women now a days

The city of Ciudad Juarez is not a good place to live especially for women now a days. Women are getting killed and physically tortured day by day. It very sad how some of these women get tormented and killed. Personally I wouldn’t like my family members or loved ones living in a city like Ciudad Juarez. It’s been going on for years, but until now the Mexican authorities are starting to stop these crimes by pressuring the government and United States government. The reason why the government of the United States is getting involved is because girls from the United States that crosses the border to party in the clubs or a friend’s Birthday Party. They’re also making a movie about these massacres of girls being killed. Here I have some stories and news of what they know about the killings of the girls.

Since August, 1993, the Mexican Federal government has been trying to solve these kinds of cases of girl being raped and killed in the streets of Ciudad Juarez. The Local women's rights groups said that from 1993 till now at least 187 women have been raped and killed by pimps, drug dealers, husbands and boyfriends. Some of those deaths remain unsolved or have no suspects or evidence. The Ciudad Juarez police said that 30 of those cases are from several serial killer and rape young women for the fun. The United States has had between 50 and 70 cases fit into rape-torture-murder profile. FBI agents has visited Juarez to solve some of those cases, but weren’t successful in finding any evidence suggesting there was a serial killer that was doing these killing to young girls. Authorities know what kind of girls do the serial killer picks out there victims of how they look, because most victims were small, dark-haired girls between 14 and 18 years old that would go to work in one of the U.S. owned Maquiladora factories. Many are killed on their way to and from work. Police said they would find these young women’s bodies with their blue factory aprons on. Dumped in the desert or next to the roads near the city. The victims’ bodies would sometimes have some of their parts cut off or would be disfigured so know one could identify. Objects would also be sometimes stuck in the young women’s vaginas or anuses, and their left breasts have been cut off. Many of the girls are strangled, then stabbed repeatedly and others would be found with their hands tied behind their backs. Some of the women’s wouldn’t have their panties on, even though they are still dressed. Several men have been arrested in connection with the killings, but are still investigating till today.

In November 2001 the police authorities from Mexico found three women bodies and later found five more in a cotton field near the Anapra shantytown near the city Ciudad Juarez. After they found those discoveries. Ex-Chihuahua Attorney General Arturo Gonzalez Rascon found two suspects murderers in less than a week. The two murder suspects were Bus drivers Victor Javier Garcia Uribe and Gustavo Gonzalez Meza, both 28. Police arrested them and asked them about the murders of the women and later confessed to raping, torturing and killing the women for fun.

Until today autorities are still investigating with the help of the u.s government to find ways to stop these crimes and find the ones responsable for those killing. Also the victims parent are pressurring authorities to help stop theses crimes that could happen to other young girls. My best advise is not to let your young daughter go to ciudad juarez by herself, but go with a group of family til they could get control over the killings of the women.
